Who we are
Soft Hustle is an independent brand focused on sustainable productivity, wellness, and intentional living. This site is operated by Chloe Kim. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach me at hello@softhustle.com.
What information I collect
I only collect what's needed to provide you with a good experience. Here's a breakdown:
Newsletter subscription
When you subscribe to the Soft Hustle newsletter, I collect your email address. This is stored and managed through ConvertKit (now Kit), my email service provider. I use it to send you new issues, updates, and occasional announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Account creation
If you create an account, I collect your email address and password. Your password is encrypted and never stored in plain text. Account data is managed through Supabase, a secure backend platform.
Contact form
When you reach out through the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and message. I use this only to respond to your inquiry and do not use it for marketing purposes.
Coaching waitlist
If you join the coaching waitlist, I collect your name, email address, and phone number, along with any details you share about your goals. This information is used solely to reach out when coaching spots open up.
Purchases
All payments are processed through Gumroad. I do not have access to your payment or credit card information. After a purchase is completed, I store only your Gumroad order ID and the product name in order to give you access to what you bought.
How I use your information
Your information is used to:
- Send newsletter issues you signed up for
- Provide access to purchased products
- Respond to your messages and inquiries
- Contact you about coaching availability
- Improve the overall experience on this site
I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third-party services
I use a small number of trusted third-party tools to run this site:
- ConvertKit (Kit) — email delivery and newsletter management
- Supabase — secure database and user authentication
- Gumroad — payment processing for digital products
Each of these services has their own privacy policy. I encourage you to review them if you'd like to learn more about how they handle data.
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies — primarily for authentication (to keep you logged in) and basic site functionality. I do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information I hold about you
- Request that I correct or delete your data
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Data retention
I keep your information only as long as it's needed. If you delete your account or request removal, your data will be removed from my systems within a reasonable timeframe, unless I'm required to retain it for legal reasons.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If I make significant changes to this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page. I may also send a note to newsletter subscribers if the changes are meaningful.
